Christchurch Federation of Residents' Groups

In 2012 a regional forum for residents' groups was held in Christchurch by the Draco Foundation with the support of the Christchurch Diocesan Earthquake Recovery Fund, the New Zealand Banking Ombudsman and the Commissioner for Financial Literacy and Retirement
Income. In addition to the 70 delegates from around half the residents' groups in the city, officers from the Office of the Ombudsmen and Community Board members were also in attendance. The keynote speaker was the then-President of the Federation of Wellington Progressive Associations.
You can view the proceedings of that forum here. The outcome of this forum will see a Christchurch federation formed in early 2013.
